Longer the Better

Gayla, an AAB Consultant, came into the office to pick up an order and was wearing this cute long necklace. I just had to take a picture.

She used Silver Lined Crystal Seed Beads, 10mm or 12mm Black Faceted Round, and 3 of the 4mm or 5mm Smooth Silver in between the Black Faceted and 1 on the outside of each Black Faceted.

I'm sorry if I get some sizes wrong... but it looked really classy and I just had to take a picture. The Silver Lined Crystal Seed Beads made it look a little shiny. You can't see that part really well in the picture. But you can try it if you'd like!

Thanks Gayla!

Fun For All Ages!

I recently attended my niece's birthday party. They had all different kinds of activities, including making their own bracelet. They loved putting all the different colors togehter to make their very own bracelet to wear.

They all couldn't wait until their creation was finished! I just thought it was a cute idea for a birthday party!

Happy Beading!

Recruiting Promotion

We are approaching the busiest party time of the year. We would hope for you all to promote the business opportunity that All About Beads has to offer. Sometimes you need a little something extra to help you promote or discuss the business. So, we're offering you that little something extra.

Special Offer For The Next 5 Consultants That Sign Up

The next 5 Consultants that sign up and purchase either an Essential Package or a Premier Package will get a $50 Bead Certificate to use towards even more beads and supplies to get their business off the ground.

This is a great way for them to get some of the special items that don't come in either kit and really customize their selection.

*As an added bonus, for any new Consultants that sign up outside the state of Utah, we'll increase the certificate to $100! We need to expand our borders and increase our recruiting outside of Utah. This could be the extra incentive needed for someone to make the decision.

Consultants- just sign them up online and/or call the office.
Any possible future consultants- e-mail me at becky@itsallaboutbeads.com

I hope all of you take advantage of this great time of year!

Happy beading!

Flowers

My husband brought me flowers a couple of days ago. He has always loved spoiling me with beautiful flowers. I tell him to save his money, since we just got married, but he couldn't resist.

I just wanted to show you the pretty roses. They smell really good, too!

Ask me about the butterfly on it too. There's a story that goes with it. :)

Anyway, I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Earring Stands

So, Diane got these cute Earring display stands that spin for Draper Days. We had a ton of earrings hing on it. But, the other day she did a party here at the office. She displayed bracelets and necklaces on there as well. They worked perfectly!

If you'd like to order one, let me know. We like to order them in bulk, because we get a better price!

I just had to show you it! There are so many fun things you can do to display examples of your jewelry!

Happy Beading!

Remembering September 11th
In Sandy City, They do this thing called the “Healing Field”. They have so many flags that represent the people who lost their lives on that terrible day. It’s kind of mind boggling to see them all, because they represent so many lives. When you hear a number, you think wow… But actually seeing something that symbolizes the same number, it’s totally different.

I go to this every year. I didn’t lose anyone on September 11th, but I feel so strong about it and remembering it. As I walk through the waving flags I think of all the families affected and especially the children. 2,800 children lost a parent that day. But, I think it’s amazing that we have made it become something that has made us stronger and wanting to make our lives better. Some of these kids have said they want to do good things for people like volunteer, in hopes that the acts of September 11th will never happen again.

I hope we can all remember how we felt that day and make sure we never feel that way again. I hope we can be better people every day because you never know when it will be your last.

“Our nation has endured trials, and we face a difficult road ahead, winning this war will require the determined efforts of a unified country. So we must put aside our differences and work together to meet the test that history has given us.” President George W. Bush (9/11/2006)

Draper Days Pictures!

Here's 2 of our awesome consultants helping with the booth. It was so hot this day... about 100 degrees!

We had so many pre-made jewelry, we didn't know what to do with ourselves! We rewarded several outstanding Consultants by allowing them to help with the booth as well as sell pre-made jewelry.
Consultants made up women's bracelets, necklaces, watches, earrings, cell phone charms, and the cutest baby bracelets. It was fun to see all the different styles that people have and came up with.

It was such a great opportunity to get our name out there and have fun doing it!

We hope to make this an annual thing!

Fall is Approaching

Fall is a great time to get started in your bead business because people are back to school, work and have time to do things! Summer seems to go by too fast because you're busy having fun. Things are slowing down and the holidays are on there way. Soon, it will be summer again! (It's like a circle) Maybe it's just me, but LIFE is going by way too fast. I need to figure out how to slow it down.

Thinking about fall, and winter, family get togethers may be another common thing. It's a good time to have parties with family and to have people make gifts for the December holidays.

One of our Consultants said that it's become a tradition for her and her family at Thanksgiving to make jewelry while the boys watch football and take naps!

I'm excited for fall and the cooler temperatures. Here in Utah, it was 100 degrees almost every day in the summer. I'm excited for sweaters, long necklaces to wear with the sweaters, chunky bracelets, new colors, and whatever new styles that show up!

Happy beading!

Brown is the New Black...

...So I hear! We have a lot of fun browns in. We have them in Nuggets, Glass Beads, Swarovskis, Cat Eyes, and Wood!

Some of my favorites would have to be the 18mm Camel Faceted, Smoke Topaz 8mm/10mm, Black Lace Agate Oval (in this picture- It's swirled with browns and white. I LOVE it!), round Riverstones, Picture Jasper Nugget, Pietersite Nugget, Tiger Eye Nugget, Square Mahagony Wood, Natural Flat Oval Wood, and 6mm Light Brown Swarovski.

We have a 25mm HUGE dark round wood bead that is SO in! Someone made a cute necklace out of them, and it fits the style of chunky that is in today!
If you need any fun ideas, I'm sure we have some...
